Got a chance to view the first episodes of a pristine, intelligent, new series that hopefully will become a new hit. Stars Matthew Perry (my favorite Friend), and Aaron Sorkin (West Wing) as writer and director of a live comedy show (think Saturday Night Live), and Amanda Peet as their network president.
Comm folks (marketing, network, journalism, and advertising) will get a kick out of this series esp. its very detailed take on the TV industry (i.e. focus groups, sponsorships, prime time, blogging, columns, etc. etc.). The show details the life and times of producing a comedy show and ordeals of the people behind it.
Here’s an except from the pilot to whet your appetite:
You can view episodes of the week on the official website:

And of course, people with low scruples can obtain illicit copies on disk in Metrowalk or download them from any torrent client.
Enjoy!
